I originally had some concerns with this product as I had seen others' reviews that were not very positive. I contacted the company and they indicated they had made changes to improve the quality. I ordered the product and can say it is very much like the original. The lines are dark and the screen completely erases when shook. They now use plastic beads inside to assure a complete erase, so it sounds a little different from the originals in the 60's.

I would definitely recommed the product.
